This Indian Hill residence was a whole house remodel and addition. The owner, an art dealer, purchased the 70’s home and wanted to create a showplace for his extensive artwork collection. Large numbers of walls were removed and a large stairwell was carved out of the existing floor creating a new open space between the first floor and the second floor. The project has a unique massive site cast concrete fireplace, concrete island, and concrete sink bowls. There is site built cabinetry through the whole project and custom tile finishes throughout as well. The exterior decks (made of galvanized metal and cedar) are accessed by three large garage doors which can be opened to give indoor/outdoor access to the space.
